Centro Sales Success Won’t Save Palm
The Palm Centro is a big hit, but can the company actually make money off a $99 smartphone? Probably not. Palm has maybe one chance to come out with a serious iPhone competitor if they hope to recapture even a small amount of their former glory. I hope they pull it off, but I think Palm’s best days are in the past.
