Get In2TV
In2TV is a new free service from AOL that lets you watch television programs on demand on your Windows PC. Available shows include ‘Babylon 5′, ‘Spenser for Hire’, ‘Wonder Woman’, ‘Adventures of Brisco County Jr.’, ‘Falcon Crest’, ‘Welcome Back Kotter’, and many more. You can stream the programs over the net, or download high quality versions (they eventually expire, to discourage piracy).
It’s worth a sometimes glitchy interface and a few commercials to watch a huge varitety of “classic” tv on demand. Ok, I’ve only been watching B5 and Brisco County, Jr., but I’m sure there are plenty of Growing Pains and Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper fans out there. And my wife digs ‘Lois and Clark’ and ‘Wonder Woman’.
There’s even a selection of cartoons that your kids probably haven’t seen before, like ‘Pinky and the Brain’ and ‘Freakazoid’.
