Lloyd Alexander passed away last Thursday. He was 83 years old. Alexander authored a wonderful fantasy series called Chronicles of Prydain, one of which was made into the underrated Disney film The Black Cauldron.  The books were favorites of mine, and I think it’s time to revisit them.
